Monthly Newsletter from New Dawn Realty November 2, 2021

Happy November, Clients and Friends.

I love that I can call you both Client and Friend. While we do business together, real estate is all about relationships. And so, we become friends through the process of your trust in me while buying and selling your properties.

Goodness, it’s been a while since we’ve sent out a market update! The New Dawn Realty Team has been working hard on new ways to get you the most up-to-date Real Estate ongoings. One of our incorporated changes is sending a monthly newsletter—so let’s jump in.

The Market

Some interesting news:

*The total number of loans now in forbearance, as a percent of servicer’s portfolio volume is now down to 2.15 percent.
*The share of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans in forbearance is now less than 1 percent (0.97).
*Ginnie Mae, filled primarily with FHA & VA loans, is at 2.65 percent.
Other loans (e.g., portfolio and Private Label Security loans like non-QM and jumbo) stands at 5.13 percent.

These numbers are much lower than some folks think and a solid sign for housing moving forward.

It appears we are in for a very productive New Year. So buckle your seatbelts for another crazy Spring Selling Season.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

One of my favorite Authors and Podcaster, Emily P. Freeman asked these reflective questions:

3 Questions for the end of October

1. What was a surprising gift in October?

2. When was a moment you felt most like yourself?

3. What's something from October you want to bring with you into November?

Here’s my answers, I’d love to hear yours.

1. What was a surprising gift in October?

Dancing with my mama in our Christmas pajamas, just prior to her first chemo treatment.

2. When was a moment you felt most like yourself?

Watching summer’s green, blush to yellow, orange and reds.

3. What's something from October you want to bring with you into November? Smiles and laughs shared while David and I continue into month three of our “camping adventures”— remodeling our main floor while living in the basement. Operating with a microwave and coffee pot. This is living!

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for you.
