Meet Dawna
Dawna Hetzler is the Founder and Employing Broker of New Dawn Realty and New Dawn Realty of Southwest Florida. Licensed in both Colorado and Florida, she has spent more than two decades helping clients make informed real estate decisions with confidence.
She is known for navigating complex transactions, solving difficult problems, and negotiating strategically on behalf of her clients. Whether it’s residential, luxury, commercial, land, or investment property, Dawna believes every client deserves thoughtful representation and a customized strategy.
Her philosophy is simple:

Originally from Southern California, Dawna began her real estate career in 1988 before moving to Colorado in 1993. After earning her degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Colorado Denver, she returned to the profession she loves—helping people navigate one of life’s most significant financial decisions.
When she’s not working with clients, you’ll likely find her exploring Colorado or Florida with her husband of more than 30 years, David, spending time with their two rescue Siberian Huskies, collecting seashells, or enjoying one more cup of coffee.
She may be awake early enough to watch the sunrise…
…but she still isn’t a morning person.
And she probably never will be.
